Dr. Jon Dunn is a Santa Barbara dentist who graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine University and The University of the Pacific Dental School. His father and grandfather were both college professors and inspired him to become a professional educator in addition to a restorative dentist. Possessing a natural love of teaching, he enjoys explaining current treatment alternatives to both patients and other dentists. He is one of a handful of Santa Barbara dentists who are nationally certified by both the California Dental Board and the Academy of General Dentistry as dental continuing education providers. Dr. Dunn presents courses throughout California and nationally to instruct other practicing dentists regarding the latest advances in dentistry and infection control procedures needed to renew their licenses. This expertise is reflected in the patient education and care you receive in our office as well as our outstanding infection control protocols.
